Cambodia News: CAMBODIA NEWS is a media organization with a group of media and communications professionals. It was firstly established on 7 January 2003 gaining an official license from the Ministry of Information. It was the country’s first independent bilingual (English and Khmer) newspaper run by the Cambodians only without foreign managerial and financial control. Since its inception, while providing free-flow of information to its audience, CAMBODIA NEWS staff members also have joined with both government and civil society to train hundreds of working journalists, journalism students, and civil servants, including NGO media and communications officers. It is a now becoming a center to join the government, national and international civil societies to promote free and professional media & communications. It is a resource network providing media and communications training, media and communications consultation, and media and social surveys.
